   Sign up for the 2nd annual spring 8 day trip on the Red Rooster 3. Call the Red Rooster office for details or reservations 619-224-3857, or email Saltydawg bill@saltydawgrods.com. We’ve done this trip in this time slot the last 4 years and have nonstop action. Albacore, bluefin, yellowfin, yellowtail. We fish Allijos Rocks, offshore and Cedros Island.
   There will be custom rods, reels raffled and tons of swag for everybody. Come join the fun on one of the best boats and crew in the fleet

   Looking to find best time of the year in which I could be lucky enough to hook up on few tuna, 200-300# cows. Looking at CharkBaits November sponsored trip however its so for away in time. I would like a 6-10 day trip. Coming from Florida I would like to find the best opportunity to hook up on large tuna. Florida has very large mosquitoes and very small fish, god I miss LA!

     Bruce the cows are generally later in the season and on trips 10 days or longer. On this trip we get into some 100lb tuna.

     I’m sorry the dates didnt get put on the original, here they are Depart June 16th and return June 24th 8 day trip

         Red Rooster is one of the biggest and stable fishing platforms in the fleet, I doubt they have ever canceled too many trips due to weather. We’ve had beautiful weather on this trip the last 4 years
