Broken Calstar 90J – Repaired!

This Calstar 90J was broke in half and the customer just wanted the fugi guides stripped off, I got to looking at it and the break was clean and the pieces meshed back together well so I sleeved it from the inside with a fitted piece of graphite and extended the original trim band a bit to cover the scar, Its holding up fine.

New custom wrapped Calstar

The customer wanted a wrap that looked good but was quick and cheaper than a weave or crosswrap. I gave him a tiger base wrap and 3 color guide wraps with some inlay detail.
